LIWEO, or the live chat revolution

Founded in October 2015, the start-up LIWEO has developed a management of very high quality video streams on internet browsers. Its concept is aimed at individuals as well as professionals and semi-professionals.
For the latter two, the company created the Bliverr platform, to make live video chats from a computer, smartphone or tablet. The advantage is that there is no software, no application to install, everything is done on the browser. Using the platform is easy, and is done in three steps: registration, setting and broadcasting.

The dematerialization of conferences for a distanced whole

LIWEO did not continue its activity. Indeed, since 2018, it is no more. But its operation has remained. It then adapts to the current uses of virtual meetings, especially during this period of confinement. Thus, faced with the development of videoconferencing solutions with tools such as Zoom, Skype or Teams… Many events, meetings and conferences are therefore still held.

Live Chat like LIWEO allow you to communicate remotely.

This particularly concerns events that had to take place physically. Not wanting to cancel them, as has been the case with many others, some organizers have chosen digitalization. Thanks to streaming tools, it is possible to attend conferences, pitches as if you were there. This is considerable progress, which is a game changer. Since the beginning of the year, marked by COVID-19, this solution has made it possible to maintain the professional dynamism of the front.

Thus, business meetings, or collective points when you are teleworking are maintained. An ideal way to combine social interactions, professional activity… And escape, thanks to Digital. LIWEO has thus paved the way for these developments of tools for professionals.

A video chat solution adapted to new uses made in LIWEO

LIWEO SAS has also developed the Tchao.io platform, which operates on the same principle: to conduct video conversations with other users via a private “room” that is created beforehand, in which only people with the link and password can access. Free, it allows you to chat with 8 people simultaneously and file sharing up to 20MB.

But the company has new ambitions. By the end of 2016, it wants to open a paid formula (4) on Tchao.io, offering additional features, such as the possibility of talking with 15 people at the same time but also the creation of collaborative tools such as agendas to organize professional relations as best as possible. This formula is more advantageous for professionals and semi-professionals such as associations or clubs.

The start-up is part of Microsoft’s BizSpark program and is supported by BPI France; its concept is expected to attract 1 million people, 5% of whom are professionals in one year. Professional communication 2.0 has a bright future ahead of it…
