Charging stations are developing more and more throughout the country. Their implementation is a mandatory condition to ensure the development of electric mobility. This increase in the number of charging stations is measurable. Avere France has established a barometer that reports on the installations on the territory. The increase in the number of charging stations is 53% in one year. The principle of interoperability in the framework of Decree No. 2021-1561 of 3 December 2021 on charging infrastructure supports this increase.
More charging stations
Indeed, if the State encourages the purchase of electric vehicles that are more respectful of the environment, it must also guarantee the conditions for their proper use. According to figures from Statista, the number of 100% electric vehicles increased by 9.8% in 2021. This increase can be explained in particular by the policy measures put in place to promote the purchase and consequently the development of electric vehicles. For example, the State has set up an ecological bonus that allows you to benefit from aid during the purchase. This aid represents 27% of the purchase price and is directly deducted from the invoice.

On the other hand, for a thermal car, users pay an ecological penalty depending on the vehicle. Future buyers of an electric vehicle can also benefit from the conversion premium. This premium makes it possible to benefit from aid for the acquisition of a new or used electric vehicle. Provided you put your older diesel or petrol vehicle in the scrapyard.
In this context, it is then necessary to ensure that users will be able to easily charge their vehicle. For this, there has been an increase in the installation of charging stations. As of February 2022, Avere France has no less than 55,515 charging points open to the public. This increase is at a good pace, given that at the same time 64% of motorway service areas are connected. The goal is to catch up with the electric vehicle market quickly in order to provide solutions to all users and absorb growth. Indeed, the park will have to be multiplied by 8 and will have to be between 2020 and 2030.
Interoperability a condition for the development of electricity
Interoperability is a concept that falls within the scope of Decree No. 2021-1561 of 3 December 2021 which sets up the modalities for infrastructure developers and charging stations. It shall also establish the conditions for non-compliance with these obligations and the provisions relating to the creation, configuration, installation and supply of alternative fuel.

The interoperability of charging stations is very important in the implementation of charging stations. It is also mandatory. Indeed, interoperability is the ability to allow different operations to interconnect. The goal is to offer users multiple networks without the need for multiple access solutions. More concretely, this means that charging stations will be more accessible because they will no longer be reserved for a member network or a single operator.
In short, the market for electric vehicles is gradually being organized and democratized with all the political measures put in place to replace the thermal fleet.
